Honestly, valid. Maggie is both superstitious and spiritual, so she is likely to prickle at John’s stinky emotional energy. She can smell the Grima on him and would steer clear.
I was originally thinking of having Maggie join up at the Grace Lutheran Church but I kind of like the idea of her arriving alone sometime later and being welcomed in because of her vulnerability and seeming expertise. (I feel like I read somewhere that the Lundegaard community would do this sometimes, but maybe that was a previous version of a game doc?)
In either case, I’m sure we can find a reason for John and Maggie to be relatively unfamiliar with each other (at least socially) upon game start.
