Pre-Game Chatter Post

Hi everybody! I am so pleased and excited to welcome you all to State of Decay. This game has been a longtime labor of love for me, and I cannot wait to see what stories you all tell in the world I've curated for you.

While I will largely be running this game like the other collaborative journal games I know you all from, I'm also trying out some new things. Please anticipate a few growing pains as we try stuff, sort things out, and figure out what works. I am always looking for feedback & suggestions for improvement on how to streamline and organize things, so feel free to drop me a line if you have comments or suggestions. Thanks for bearing with me as I get my feet on the ground!

JACKIE HIIIIII I LOVE HIM

I have a container fort child who there is probably plot with. Because if Bunny was someone Beau counted as her "crew" and "family", then probably Carter (her real twin) will feel strange about that. She definitely resented that faux family a lot and obviously thought Beau forgot about her for a long time. BUT Bunny is very cute and also cynical just like Carter herself, and she's also a kind of leader figure at the fort now and inherently/fiercely loves all these weirdos despite herself, so I can definitely see her coming to terms with him in her own way, and resenting herself for that? And/or maybe some clashes? This is a long way of saying I apologize for her but hopefully in a fun way.

god i am so old the school year is already kicking my ass

please know that bunny would have absolutely BACKED OFF at any hostility because he knows how not to get shot in the head. but also probably would have kept coming back around like a pathetic stray animal. so. i can see them having done a definite song-and-dance-routine for a bit there before quietly making sarcastic remarks at each other until that breadcrumbed into better interpersonal relations.
